FAQ

General

What payment methods do you offer?

The RPM Store accepts Visa and MasterCard. American Express is also accepted for Australian payments. For other payment options (purchase order, bank transfer etc), contact us here: rpmglobal.com/contact-us/.

Is it safe to enter my credit card details into the RPM Store?

The RPM Store uses a trusted, secure payment gateway, eWay, to process all credit card transactions.

My credit card number was not accepted, what can I do?

Ensure the card number was entered correctly, without spaces or dashes. Make sure that the name and billing address on your order match the name and billing address on your credit card. If you use a corporate card, use the name and billing address of the cardholder, not the purchaser. Check with the cardholder or your Accounting department to verify the name and billing address. Contact your financial institution to ensure that you haven't exceeded your credit limit, the credit card is in good standing, and it supports online transactions.

If you are still having problems using your credit card, please contact us to arrange alternative methods of payment: rpmglobal.com/contact-us/.

How do I get a receipt for my purchases?

Immediately after you purchase, you will receive a confirmation email of your order including a payment receipt and access to the online training course or software. Shortly after your purchase, RPM’s finance team will send you a “paid” invoice.

I've not received an email confirmation after purchasing. What do I do?

Check your email spam folder or contact us here: rpmglobal.com/contact-us/.

Is there a returns policy?

The RPM Store’s full return policy is set out here: http://www.rpmglobal.com/legal.

Are there any shipping charges?

No.

What taxes are charged for purchases in the RPM Store?

All online products are sold from RPM Software Pty Ltd which is an Australian based entity. For companies purchasing from Australia, GST will be added to the advirtised price at check out. An estimate of tax is provided in the initial check out step, while the final amount processed (based on billing location) will be displayed before the order is completed. No tax will be applied for international purchases.

Software Access

What licensing options are available via the RPM Store?

Single user (dongle) licenses are available for purchase via the RPM Store. For other licensing options, contact us here: rpmglobal.com/contact-us/.

How long is my software license available for?

Permanently.

How will the license be sent to me?

Once your payment is processed, you will receive an email with a link to download the application and a temporary license file so you can get started using the software straight away. Within a few business days of your order being processed, RPM will ship your permanent USB dongle and an End User Software License & Maintenance Agreement (SLMA). The SLMA can be found here: http://www.rpmglobal.com/legal/. You will need to sign and return the SLMA to RPM. Upon receiving this, RPM will issue you with a permanent license file that works with your USB dongle.

I travel and don’t always have internet, can I still access the software?

The single user licenses sold on our website are suitable for users who travel to remote locations for long periods without (reliable) network communications.

What are the system requirements for using RPM software?

The system requirements have been specified at the bottom of each product page in the RPM Store.

What is a single user license?

Single-user license allow you to use the software on one computer. This is done by use of the Sentinel hardware key, which needs to be plugged into the USB port of your computer for the software to function.

Software Maintenance

What is maintenance?

Maintenance applies to all software sales. It gives you the assurance that your investment in our software is protected (if something goes wrong) and future proofed (upgrades). Maintenance means we’ll diagnose any issues you have to ascertain whether it is a problem with our software or how it is being used. We’ll find the root cause of the problem; we won’t charge you for finding it. Maintenance also gives you access to new product enhancements through software version upgrades. Maintenance means we’ll be there to assist with any questions you have about licensing, including installing, accessing, or updating your software. Maintenance covers software bugs. If you find a defect in the software that causes a critical issue, we’ll provide a patch to ensure you can keep running. When you have a current maintenance agreement, support is only a phone call or email away.

What is not included in maintenance?

Training and software mode configuration is not included in your maintenance fees. RPM’s technology consulting team can provide these services at an additional cost if required. For more information, contact us here: rpmglobal.com/contact-us/.

How will the maintenance fees be charged?

Maintenance is a required “add-on” for your software purchase via the RPM Store (as it is for all software purchases). One year maintenance is automatically added to your cart when you are purchasing software. We offer discounts if you purchase multiple years of maintenance up front. At the end of your pre-purchased maintenance period, we will contact you to discuss your future maintenance options and renewal.
